FAQ

An IBAN (International Bank Account Number) is a standardized code that uniquely identifies a bank account in international transactions. It is used for receiving and sending payments across borders in a standardized way, especially within SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area) transactions. A BIC (Bank Identifier Code) is a unique identifier used to specify a financial institution in money transfers. It is also commonly known as a SWIFT code. The BIC is used alongside the IBAN to ensure that transfers are correctly routed to the intended bank or institution.

Once you successfully open an account with eCREDO, we will issue you an IBAN linked to your account. You can use this IBAN to receive and send funds, like a traditional bank account.

eCREDO accounts have certain restrictions, such as monthly transaction limits, depending on your account level and the regulations of eCREDO.

A SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area) transfer allows for euro transactions within participating European countries. It is designed to make cross-border payments as simple and fast as domestic transfers. Payments are usually processed within one or two business days.

SEPA transfers typically take one business day to process, but sometimes can take longer, depending on the recipient financial institution.

Yes, please check the Fees schedule on our website.

Once a SEPA transfer is processed, it cannot be reversed. It is important to check full payment details before submitting the payment. eCREDO is not liable in case there is a mistake from the customer in the payment details.
